This begins as a “Green Eyed Susan” with a corona of stiff bicolour petals, gold at the base, sunshine yellow toward the tips. Very productive plants, reaching 32” tall.
Perennials and annuals native to North America, all with that "black eyed Susan" appeal. The perennials should be divided after 3 years. Spacing of 12-18" is suitable for all of these species. The seedheads are useful for dried arrangements, or as standing natural bird feeders going into winter.
